IMRU Interviews QMUG

Rewind to November 1999 when IMRU interviewed QMUG/LA’s co-chairs, and play through December 1999 when the interview actually aired. Then fast-forward to February 2000 when QMUG/LA was to present “Streaming Audio and Video,” but wasn’t able to because the Center wasn’t able to establish a connection to the Internet for the presentation.

Part of that presentation was the demonstration on how to take something like that 4 minute, 40MB AIFF interview, compress it to a 4MB MP3 file, export it as a “hinted” movie, and upload it to a QuickTime Streaming Server like Apple’s own website.
