Int’l Mosaic Picnic

The 2nd Annual International Mosaic Picnic will take place Sunday, August 24, 2003 Noon til 6:00PM at the West Hollywood Park Baseball Field Donation: $5.00

The International Mosaic consists of: GALAS, the Armenians MAZI, the Greeks ALL’APERTO, the Italians HOMANS, the Persians TRIKONELA, South Asians, and CAP FRANCAIS, the French all working towards a better and stronger gay community!

The International Mosaic Picnic is a social, cultural and culinary event with a mission to build bridges, foster friendship, share music and food, and promote understanding among Gay, Lesbian, Bi-, and Transgender people of diverse cultures, nationalities, races, and religions.  The International Mosaic is a collection of numerous ethnic/cultural/linguistic GLBT organizations in the Los Angeles area. Join us for this international picnic with a variety of ethnic dishes, music, and games.  Come and learn about the GLBT traditions that have existed for centuries in each of these cultures, while enjoying authentic food and libations.  There will also be music from the various cultures, both traditional and contemporary.  Come for an afternoon of food, music, and friendship as we spread our blankets on the grass.  Sample the tastes of each culture and join our International Mosaic family Sunday August 24, 2003, Noon til 6:00PM.  Address questions to: Joe Spinoza, (818) 753-8998, joespinoza@aol.com.
