L.A. area MUG Leaders

On Sunday, August 11th, QMUG/LA had the distinct honor and pleasure of organizing and hosting the L.A. area MUG Leaders Forum.  In attendance were not only all of QMUG/LA’s officers, but also about 35 other L.A. area Macintosh user group (MUG) leaders representing over 20 officially Apple registered and recognized L.A. area Macintosh user groups, as well as Garr Reynolds, the Apple User Group Program manager.  In preparation for it, QMUG/LA created and hosted the Forum’s website, where you can find the most current and correct contact information (as of Sun, Aug 11th, ’02), L.A. area MUG stats, a gallery of thumbnails of L.A. MUG website main pages, a map of L.A. area MUGs, a calendar of L.A. area MUG meetings, important resources for L.A. area MUG leaders, the feedback form and results, and an interview w/ Garr Reynolds.  You can also read the basic pieces of correspondence that went out — the intial query, the invitation, the confirmation, the map for parking, and the wrap-up — as well as a timeline of events for the Forum.  The pages of Forum’s website also doubled as the pages for the Forum’s handout.  So check out the site, see it for youself (especially its pretty cool graphic navigation bars across the top of each page), and let us know what you think.
