 QMUG/LA logo Meeting Nights Results

Documents

Our Star Search meetings are important in that they’re a great way to kick off the year to find out what topics are of most interest to our members and who will help lead the group.

Periodically, our Star Searches can also find out how our members feel about other group-related issues, like where QMUG/LA should meet (the Village or Dr. Rawstock, Dr. Rawstock or CompUSA Burbank).

This past Star Search was one of them — when QMUG/LA should meet (the 2nd Monday or the 2nd Tuesday).  Because of the nature of the question, we allowed for absentee voting.  In short, here are the results:

Votes from/for Monday Tuesday Either

In short, I think it’s fair to say our members (absentee, those present and together) seem to have a strong preference for continuing to meet on the 2nd Monday of each month.

I think the results could have been closer if those who had e-mailed me about conflicting w/ the Gay Men’s Chorus and LAPUG had voted, but amazingly enough, they didn’t.

From these results, I will draft this year’s Qalendar w/ meetings on the 2nd Mondays of each month.  If you have any questions, comments, suggestions for next time, or other feedback, please don’t hesitate to share them w/ me/us.

Sincerely,
Doan Thiel Stafford
Co-Chair—QMUG/LA
